Cannabis Regulatory Management Platform (CRMP)
Built for regulators and cannabis operators — licence applications, compliance tracking, inspection workflows, and audit reporting. Submitted to Caribbean government officials for national adoption.
01 / Challenge
The Challenge
Cannabis regulators in the Caribbean were managing licences on spreadsheets and paper.
Applications arrived by post and email with no structured intake, no status tracking, and no audit trail.
Regulators had no real-time visibility into application pipeline or operator compliance. Operators had no way to track their application status without calling the regulator directly — creating uncertainty for businesses trying to plan entry into the legal market.
As Caribbean governments formalized their cannabis regulatory frameworks, they needed a purpose-built system that could handle the complexity of a regulated industry at a national scale.
02 / Solution
Our Solution
We built CRMP as an end-to-end regulatory management platform for the dual audience of government regulators and licensed operators.
Licence applications are submitted digitally with structured intake and document upload. Regulators manage application workflow — eligibility review, approval stages, conditions, and issuance. Inspection records are stored against each licence. Compliance reporting gives regulators programme-wide visibility.
Operators have a dedicated portal to track application status, submit required documentation, and manage their licence lifecycle. Every action on every record is logged in a complete audit trail.
The platform was built to Caribbean regulatory standards and submitted to Caribbean government officials for adoption as the national regulatory infrastructure.
03 / Results
The Results
The licence application process is fully digitized — no paper submissions, no email-based tracking.
Regulators have real-time visibility across all applications and compliance records.
Operators can track their application and manage their licence without calling the regulator. Inspection workflows are managed inside the system with complete record linkage.
The CRMP has been submitted to Caribbean government officials for national adoption, establishing TrustTech as a credible provider of government-grade regulatory technology for the Caribbean cannabis sector.
PhytoPedia students also use the platform as part of their industry training — giving them hands-on experience with the regulatory system before entering the workforce.
