The Challenge
Grenada had no central, trusted place for businesses to be found online.
Discovery was scattered across Facebook groups, word of mouth, and stale listings — hard for residents and visitors to find what they need, and hard for businesses to control how they appear.
Small businesses had no simple way to list themselves, keep their details current, or pay for better visibility in one trusted place. Discovery stayed scattered, and much of the local economy was hard to find online.
02 / Solution
Our Solution
We designed, built, and launched Island Link as a full directory and discovery platform — available on the web and as native iOS and Android apps — built and operated together with local stakeholders.
Residents and visitors search and browse businesses by category, location, and tags, with maps and ‘near me’ discovery across Grenada, Carriacou & Petite Martinique. Every business gets a self-serve dashboard to manage its own listing, hours, photos, and contact details — no gatekeeper, no waiting.
Integrated Stripe payments let businesses pay for listings and premium placement directly, with receipts emailed automatically. Real Grenada business data was imported and re-hosted so the platform launched with genuine local coverage, not an empty shell.
03 / Results
The Results
Island Link is live — on the web at islandlinkco.com (since June 2026) and shipped to both the Apple App Store and Google Play (mobile apps since July 2026).
In its first two months the platform drew 11,700+ page views from 1,500+ visitors, and Google now surfaces it 32,000+ times in search results — real early traction for a brand-new local product. 361 Grenada businesses are already on the map, discoverable by category, tag, and location.
It was beta-tested through Grenada's Spice Mas (Carnival) season — real event-time demand, with Carnival tours, events, and ‘what’s on’ among the most-viewed content. Built and operated by TrustTech with its local stakeholders, Island Link is our strongest proof of taking a complete consumer-and-business platform from zero to a live, growing product across web and two app stores.
