The Challenge
Cannabis enthusiasts and professionals in the Caribbean had no dedicated digital home — no community platform built for their specific context.
General social networks lack the context, the norms, and the industry-specific structure that a regulated, emerging industry needs.
At the same time, PhytoPedia was building a trained and certified student body with nowhere to connect, collaborate, and grow their professional network after graduation. The gap between education and community was costing both platforms engagement.

Our Solution
We built Mimea as a fully custom cannabis community platform, powered by PhytoPedia's network — purpose-built for the cannabis community, not adapted from generic social infrastructure.
Members get activity feeds, group spaces, member directories, event listings, and private messaging. The native mobile app delivers the full community experience on iOS and Android, with push notifications keeping members engaged.
PhytoPedia graduates flow directly into Mimea — their credentials connect them to a community of peers and professionals in the Caribbean cannabis sector.
