Shanti's Lounge
Digital infrastructure for a disabled Navy veteran's mission — a NY State Licensed plant-based wellness brand helping veterans, first responders, and their families find their path from service to solace.
01 / Challenge
The Challenge
Chris Williams is a disabled Navy veteran who went from 300 lbs on multiple VA medications to rebuilding his life through plant-based nutrition, meditation, and community.
He named his brand Shanti — meaning peace — because he'd lived the alternative and refused to leave others to walk that road alone.
His mission was clear. His credibility was real. What he needed was digital infrastructure worthy of the people he was serving — veterans and first responders who approach every purchase, every resource, every community with earned skepticism. In a trust-intensive space where misinformation is everywhere, every piece of the digital presence needed to reflect legitimacy, transparency, and genuine alignment with the community.
Chris had a NY State Hemp license, a lived story, and a plan. TrustTech's job was to build the infrastructure that could carry it.

Our Solution
We built Shanti's Lounge's digital foundation from scratch — every piece designed around the mission of serving those who served.
The website is NY State licensed and 21+ compliant, built to educate before it sells — because that's how Chris operates. The shop carries COA-verified, lab-tested CBD tinctures and topicals, built for transparency and accessibility for the community Chris is here to serve.
The email pipeline delivers Chris's voice week over week — real knowledge, no sales pitches — following the same education-first approach he brings to every interaction. The Harbor — Shanti's community program hub — hosts guided meditation for veterans, support circles for those in transition, and wellness workshops for the families carrying the weight alongside them.
Social channels across Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, and TikTok extend Chris's story to the veterans and first responders who need to find it before they know they're looking.

The Results
Shanti's Lounge is live — and the mission is in motion. The website is running.
The shop is open. The email list is growing with subscribers who joined because of Chris's story. The Harbor is active — real veterans showing up to support circles and meditation sessions, finding something in those rooms that the VA system couldn't provide.
But this case study isn't finished.
TrustTech is actively building — expanding the infrastructure Chris needs to take this mission from Westchester County to every veteran and first responder who needs a lighthouse in the fog. The shop will grow. The programs will expand. The community will deepen.
Chris went from 300 lbs and multiple VA medications to founding a NY State Licensed wellness business built on lived experience and a commitment to those who served. Every piece of digital infrastructure we're building exists to help that story reach more people — and to answer the question that started all of it: how do you help someone find their path from service to solace?
